 Dr Senen Gonzalez is an experienced Rehabilitation Medicine Physician who has been in specialist practice for over a decade.

Dr Gonzalez graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1999 and completed his Rehabilitation Medicine physician training in 2007.  He has developed wide-ranging experience from various public hospital appointments as well as the private hospital sector.

Dr Gonzalez has special interests in the management of spasticity and osteoporosis, and has set-up 2 specialist clinics within Matrix Rehab Medicine to manage these two conditions.

Dr Gonzalez is committed to providing a comprehensive, reliable and readily accessible service for his patients and referrers.  This includes providing visits to nursing home residents, collaborative joint assessments with treating therapists and provision of bulk-billing services to pension and health care card holders.

Matrix Rehab Medicine is providing telehealth consultations where possible.

Where face-to-face appointments are required, we are practising with stringent hygiene precautions, with hand sanitiser provided, and physical examinations/procedures conducted with gloves, face shield and mask.

If you and/or your carer are attending for a face-to-face appointment, please notify in advance if you are ill or have been ill in the last 2 weeks, been in contact with anybody with or suspected of having Corona virus, or attended any exposure sites. In the interests of safety to all, we will reschedule your appointment once safe to do so.
